In 2013, Zhejiang Anqiang Power Technology Co., Ltd. was established. Leveraging many years of industry experience and professional insight as a power technology engineer, the founder, Mr. Wan, strategically selected the high-voltage electrical equipment sector as the company’s core business focus.
During the early stage, the company concentrated on vacuum circuit breakers, covering both indoor and outdoor series. The voltage ratings comprehensively ranged from 10kV, 24kV, 27.5kV, 33kV, 35kV, 40.5kV, 66kV, 110kV, 126kV to 220kV. With reliable product quality and strong technical support, Anqiang’s products quickly gained market recognition, laying a solid foundation for subsequent growth in market presence and brand reputation.
In 2016, after three years of market cultivation and experience accumulation, Zhejiang Anqiang Power Technology Co., Ltd. entered a stage of scaled development. The workforce expanded to 80 employees, and the company continued to invest in advanced testing equipment, including power-frequency withstand voltage test systems, complete switchgear test benches, resistance testers, and other inspection facilities.
Meanwhile, the product portfolio was expanded to include vacuum circuit breakers, disconnectors, drop-out fuses, zinc oxide surge arresters, load switches, current and voltage transformers, cable branch boxes, and floor-mounted prepaid metering boxes, among other high-voltage electrical products. Through continuous optimization of production processes, Anqiang significantly improved production capacity and delivery efficiency. Market share steadily increased, and Anqiang products were widely applied in numerous key domestic power projects, further enhancing brand influence.
In 2019, after firmly establishing its position in the vacuum circuit breaker sector, the company adhered to the strategic philosophy of “deepening expertise in the power industry while pursuing diversified and synergistic development.” Anqiang began expanding its product categories and successively launched gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), ring main units (RMU), environmentally friendly switchgear, metal-clad switchgear, low-voltage distribution cabinets, power control cabinets, transformers, and prefabricated box-type substations.
At the same time, products including vacuum circuit breakers, gas-insulated switchgear, ring main units, metal-clad switchgear, prepaid metering boxes, cable branch boxes, and box-type substations all obtained high-voltage type test reports, forming a comprehensive product matrix of high-voltage transmission and distribution equipment. This enabled Anqiang to meet customers’ one-stop procurement needs for power equipment and further strengthened the brand’s market recognition.
In 2022, in response to the industry trend toward intelligent and digital transformation, the company achieved a major upgrade from traditional manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing. New products such as cold- and heat-shrinkable cable accessories were added, and the company’s low-voltage distribution cabinets obtained the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) product conformity self-declaration qualification.
Additionally, Anqiang accelerated its overseas market expansion, establishing service outlets in multiple key international markets and continuously improving its overseas sales and after-sales service systems. This significantly enhanced global market penetration, with products exported to Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Russia, South America, and dozens of other countries and regions, contributing to the development of power infrastructure worldwide.
In 2025, the company continued to deepen technological innovation and market expansion, achieving breakthroughs in new energy power supporting equipment. Specialized power equipment designed for wind power and photovoltaic applications was successfully launched, supporting the rapid growth of the renewable energy industry. Newly expanded products include photovoltaic prefabricated cabins, photovoltaic step-up transformers, PV grid-connected cabinets, PV grid-connected boxes, and “small three-box” systems.
Furthermore, the company obtained ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certifications. Anqiang’s products are now widely applied in State Grid, China Southern Power Grid, as well as various industrial enterprises and renewable energy projects, continuously contributing to the safe, stable, and sustainable development of the global power industry.
