The Transmission Level Circuit Breaker adopts advanced SF6 gas or alternative insulation technology combined with a puffer-type arc extinguishing mechanism. During fault interruption, compressed insulating medium rapidly removes the arc energy and restores dielectric strength between contacts, allowing the breaker to interrupt high fault currents safely and efficiently. The dead-tank or live-tank configuration can be selected according to substation layout requirements. Dead-tank designs integrate current transformers inside grounded metallic enclosures, improving operator safety and reducing installation space. Live-tank structures provide optimized insulation performance for extra-high voltage applications. The spring operating mechanism provides fast opening and closing response with low maintenance requirements. Integrated sensors continuously monitor gas density, mechanical position, operating cycles, and control circuit status, supporting modern smart grid applications and predictive maintenance strategies.
